Cocktails or Mocktails.....

Cocktails for all - all except me that is! We were invited to a cocktail party for Liz Pennington this weekend and had a wonderful time!! It was fun dressing up and actually putting on heels for the first time in 21 weeks (however my feet where killing me by 11:30). OUCH!!! So since we got all dolled up we thought we would snap a few pictures......

Luke's Wish List.....Fulfilled!!!

Sorry this post is a little late. Luke as you can see had a great Christmas. Jo & Scott (our neighbors and owner of Luke girlfriend, Mac) fulfilled Luke Christmas wish list. He got a squirrel he can attack daily, pork skins, and dog treats!!! Boy is he rotten!!!

1/2 way there baby.....

We have hit a milestone in pregnancy the BIG 20 weeks. Yippee!!!! We are now 1/2 way to meeting Baby Beasley!! We had our 20 week ultrasound done Monday and Jason got to see the baby for the first time and NO before you get to excited we did not cave and find out the sex. Baby Beasley is going to be surprise for all!!! :) The ultrasound tech said she "never" had anyone do this and was a bit nervous to find out herself b/c she was scared she would give it away during the ultrasound. We closed our eyes while she did a little investigation and then we got to see BB in action!! I still have not felt any movement so I was super excited to see what all was going on in there. They said not to worry b/c all of my fluid was in the front of my belly so I will probably not feel anything until 23 weeks. Baby Beasley looked happy, healthy, and very active in there....see pictures below.

Two tiny feet with 10 tiny toes...Baby Beasley crossed his or her ankles and played with those little toes for a large part of the ultrasound.

And yes oh yes I am afraid so we might just have us a little thumb sucker. Picking up mommas bad habits already! :)

Stretching out....you can see the arm extended over the forehead. The profile was hard to get with all this hand and arm action.

FYI: Baby Beasley is a healthy 15 oz.

We had a great visit and Jason got the FULL experience of an OB office....ultrasound twice, blood work, doctors, nurses, and insurance I think we stopped at every room. I go back in 4 weeks for a check up then it's on to the sugar test which I am not looking forward to! We will keep you posted!!

13 weeks and Growing!

Well we hit the 13 week mark yesterday so we are now on our last week of the 1st trimester. I could not be happier! I am a little slow on my post, oops! I had a doctors appointment last Tuesday, November 10th and got to see what all Baby Beasley had going on. It was a quick ultrasound but I was AMAZED at all the development that had gone on since the last one. Picture below...it's a little blurry but it's because I took it with my iPhone and emailed it to myself. Sorry. I will try to scan later. Baby B has grown like a little weed and already has a profile. We have gone from a bean to a baby in four weeks.....WOW!!! :)



We have moved our baby find out date to the week of Christmas. I wanted to change the ultrasound tech so this will work out perfect. Maybe we will keep you all in suspense until Christmas day. Do you think ya'll could take it???



I am still feeling great and I can tell my belly is growing. Some days I look really pregnant and others just plain fat! I think it depends on the clothing. I have purchased my first of maternity jeans and in shock at how great they feel. I wonder why people don't wear these forever? I tried to get my mom to try on a pair with me in the fitting room but she would not go for it. I told her you don't know what you are missing.


My boys...Jason and Luke are adjusting to all my werid eating habits I have formed. I hate meat, YUCK!!! Feeling good and wanting to eat are two different things. The thought of food makes me want to be sick lots of times. I thought when you were pregnant you would love food. Well not for me I like potatoes and that is about it! Hopefully that will take a turn on turkey day. I love Thanksgiving food!!

Update: Baby Beasley is still no bothering Mamma with any sickness thank goodness (knock on wood) and we have our next appointment on Tuesday. I am sooo ready to see the doctor and hopefully be able to hear that rapid little heartbeat. I have started making a list of all the 1000 questions I have so the doctor is in for a real treat when he sees me. :) Get ready Dr. Browning! I will update after our appointment next week.
